Seventeen year old Bella Swam moved from sunny Phoenix, Arizona, to rainy, gloomy, Forks, Washington, to live with her father.  She attends Forks High School, which is at least half the size of her old high school.  Life in Forks is duller and a lot more boring than life in Phoenix.  As she sits through her classes, she becomes friends with some of her classmates.  She becomes interested in a boy named Edward.  Edward and his family are different than everybody else, acting like he is hiding something.  Throughout the story, the relationship between Edward and Bella grows.  Will they be able to get past this secret?

Twilight is the first book in a four book saga.  The second book is New Moon, the third is Eclipse and the new book being released on August 2, 2008 is Breaking Dawn.

 A main part of the story in Twilight is that Edward Cullen is a vampire.  He is not like mythical vampires that there are stories about.  Edward does not look like a typical vampire.  Edward looks like a abnormally gorgeous human, and he does not have any of the traits of a classic vampire.

With such recent releases of these books, her awards given by the world are such astounding achievements. Twilight is being made into a movie.  The release date is December 12, 2008.  Edward is being played by Robert Pattinson, an actor that played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  Isabella Swan is being played by Kristen Stewart.
